Think of our document storage like a high-security vault. We use Proton®, which scrambles your financial documents into code that only you and us can unlock. Not even the storage company can read your information.

Proton implements AES-256 encryption with perfect forward secrecy through their zero-knowledge architecture. This end-to-end encryption ensures that data is encrypted on the client side before transmission and remains encrypted at rest, with decryption keys never accessible to Proton or any third parties.

One-Time Access Links

When you share documents with us, we create special links that work only once and expire immediately after use. It's like handing someone a key that disappears the moment they unlock the door, ensuring no one else can use it later.

Our Linkly® implementation generates multi-level rotator links with click limits of one, connected to specific Proton Drive folders. This ensures document access is precisely controlled, logged, and immediately revoked after initial access, preventing unauthorized viewing or sharing.

Your Calculator Results Stay Private

When you use our Student Aid Index Calculator on our website, the information you enter stays on your computer. We don't automatically see or store your financial details unless you choose to share them with us.

Submissions are processed through a secure server-side function rather than directly through public-facing website code. This helps prevent private email credentials and CRM logging details from being exposed to visitors.

What Happens to Your Information

We Don't Keep Your Documents Forever

All your financial documents are automatically deleted from our system on October 1st each year. This ensures your sensitive information isn't sitting on our servers longer than necessary. We recommend keeping your own copies of any documents you might need later.
